Market opportunities for resources from sewage water

On Thursday October 24, CirTec will be present on this year’s Aquarama exhibition in Leuven (Belgium). CirTec offers sustainable solutions for treatment of (waste) water, sludge, evaporation and/or stripping of various flows. For example the Crescendo evaporator (https://www.cirtec.nl/en/galicos/) , Salnes finescreens (https://www.cirtec.nl/en/fijnzeven/)and Giotto belt presses and belt thickeners (https://www.cirtec.nl/en/slib-ontwateren/).

CirTec and partners will also present the project: ‘Wider buisiness Opportunities for raw materials from Waste water’ (WOW!). Focus of the Interreg project WOW! is the reuse of resources from sewage water and the production of valuable biobased resources. PHA can be harvested from sewage water to produce bioplastics, lipids can be produced for biofuels and actived carbon can be produced from toilet paper (cellulose). Are you curious to learn more about the technologies or do you see opportunities to market the biobased products? At https://www.aquarama.be/nl/tradefair/programma you can register for two different workshops (look for “workshop INTERRREG WOW!”).

We look forward to meet you at Aquarama.
