Belte Presses

The dewatering characteristics of sludge can vary greatly, depending different variables. Mineral sludge and fiber-rich sludge behave, for example, quite differently from organic/biological sludges, in terms of dewatering properties, but also in terms of abrasiveness. For this reason, we offer a wide range of dewatering machines that are tailored to the specific sludge characteristics and the wishes of the customer.

BPF WR Greenland

The BPF WR Greenland has been specifically developed for the dewatering of biological sludge. Due to a very effective thickening zone, which is provided with wedge-shaped plows, free water is released easily. In a wedge-shaped zone, sludge is first pressurized slowly between two filtermeshes. The first two rollers have an exceptionally large diameter, so that the pressure is built up calmly and evenly. The first rollers have a perforated casing through which water can escape on both sides.

In the actual press zone, the pressure between two fabrics is further increased. Depending on the specific properties of the sludge and the wishes of the customer, the press zone can be expanded to 15 press rolls.

BPF-C

The BPF-C was developed for heavy sludge types, such as mineral sludge, paper industry and tanneries. The pressure on these sludges can usually be built up faster to higher pressures. The BPF-C, like all belt presses from our portfolio, robustly constructed and has a large processing capacity.

CMF OPTIMA

This belt press filter is designed for dewatering both municipal and industrial sludges. The modular frame concept combines outstanding performance with low capital costs, thus maximizing the costs/benefits ratio. It is suitable to treat sludges in a wide range of concentrations: the “Standard” version of the machine is designed to dewater sludges with standard solid concentration, while the “Cascade” version, in combination with a belt thickener, fits for very diluted sludges.

SD

The SD is a belt press filter for mineral slurries, specifically designed to treat high flowrates at low feed concentrations. The large gravity zone and the long retention time in the low pressure zone, consisting of a large diameter perforated roll, enables the machine to effectively dewater sludges with very fine and unstable solids.
